Lamar Bond issue has passed

Just a quick note to let our members and visitors know that the Lamar County bond issue has passed. The unofficial numbers are posted below. Please note the unofficial, since we seem to be having problems with voting machines lately…

For      7924 64.5%

Against      4310 35.5%

The bond issue needed 60% to pass.

  1. Thank goodness! I was so afraid that Lamar County would drop the ball AGAIN. The one thing Mississippi should ever say no to is education.
