oh i know!! i hate when they do the cliff hangers. if derrick would have had a drink with her i would have been mad too!!! i am a little concerned about next week though according to the preview. b/c derrick tells meredith and she says "should i be worried" and he says something like "yes you should". all i know is - they better get it together.

and i can't wait to see what happens with george and izzie. i really am excited about the possibility of what might happen, cause now i think it is kind of cute.

I don't know about you guys but........I was feeling a bit depressed after last nite's eppisode. Maybe I feel too personal with all the characters (lol) but it seems to me everyone one of them is miserable and has a whole lot of pain and worries of some sort?? I want to see at least two (if not all) of them have some happiness and stability... I know that may not make for good "drama", but come on...... Meridith has loved Derek from the get go and been through the humility of being with a married man, lost her dog (and a cute vet), lost her mom, died herself and came back, then all the drama of her step-mom to lose her, being SLAPPED and disowned by her dad, almost fail her exam, and now damn Derek may or may not have a drink with some girl??? Maybe some of my depression comes from knowing next week is the final eppisode until fall...UGH!!!! Also, I might add some of my depression could be coming from the fact that next Friday I turn 50 yr old and not dealing well at all. Only bright side is I get my Season 2 for my Birthday...Oh well, I'll quit ranting for now, Thanks. (Maybe I should have put all of this in No Man's Land???Ooops)

OLDLADY, I've got that same number staring me in the face for my next birthday. Not looking forward to it at all, but you know, it's just a damn number! We think of 50 like we did when we were kids. Callie only made chief resident (as Iheart and eric explained to me last night). I was a little worried, too, because it made absolutely no sense to name her cheif of surgery. Now she is just like Miranda, who I believe is also a chief resident.

I don't know what the heck is going to happen with George. It is very sad, especially since Callie is so caught up in herself. He was the only one of the "friends" who chose not to study with the friends. He studied with Callie.

I think Izzy might end up pregnant with George's baby. That is usually how things work out, isn't it? :) But at the rate Grey's moves, the baby probably won't arrive until the end of Season 5. :smt118 (That's OK. I don't want the pace to move any quicker. I just want the show to be on year round!)

I sure hope Meredith doesn't let him go. I am hoping she will get her old self back next season. And I REALLY hope Derek sticks with her. I will be really pissed if he starts seeing her sister! That would be just wrong!

The Meredith/Derrick relationship is long been troublesome.

In the show, she met him the night before her internship started at Seattle Grace (just like her sister did the other night). They started seeing one another, but then at the end of season one, we found out that Derrick had a wife (Addison) but never told anyone. The wife had been cheating on him with his best friend (McSteamy...Dr. Sloane) and in season two, it was all about who Derrick was going to chose. He chose his wife and tried to make that work, but at the end of Season Two, he and Meredith (who had been fighting their feelings the entire season) hooked up in an empty hosptial room. At the beginning of this season, Derrick signed the divorce papers and he and Meredith were together again, but then Meredith had somewhat of a breakdown over her mom who has Alzheimers. Her mom died and Mer tried to committ suicide, but Derrick saved her. Two weeks ago, he made a comment about how he wasn't sure if he could be around to save her in the future and Mer has been trying to prove to him that she is fine. And that takes you up to speed as to what happened last night.

you should rent the first and second season from blockbuster. I have watched grey's from the first day it aired. Oh, and don't worry you will get hooked on this show. It is wonderful! My husband and I love it. :clap:

oh the third season should be out this summer so get that one and you will be caught up. There is so many episodes that keep you on the edge of your seat. The train wreck was good, the prom, the ferry crash, the bomb gosh there are so many!!!!!!!!!!!!
