Does anyone know why the Subway in Petal is closed? Are they closed for good, moving, or closed for renovations?

They're moving up the street to that building that used to be a bank, then the cleaners... The building they were in was part of the lot bought up for Walgreens. I don't know if they just planned poorly, or if the construction got behind schedule, but they're losing money daily by not being open. Kinda stupid to me, but, hey, that's me...

Thanks for the info. I don't go there much, but sometimes I do and when I noticed they were closed I wondered why. I couldn't read the sign on the door as I was driving, I just knew I didn't see any booths in there. I knew they stayed too busy to just close forever.

Maybe I'm dumb, but why do we need a Rite Aid and Walgreens right across from each other? Could that intersection get any busier? I guess it will now.

Well, after the parkway opens, I imagine that area of town will be a little slower... I don't know what Church's is going to do, of course, they have the traffic coming in from Hattiesburg.

I know that I'm going to use it to get to work once it's opened. Old Richton to the parkway, parkway to 59, 59 to Hardy. In the end, it may not be quicker, but I'll have to test it out... I know I'll use it when I'm going to the west side of Hattiesburg.
