This movie was awesome. Unfortunately for all us Xfans out there this will more than likely be the last XMen movie. But in 2007 there will be a Wolverine movie and also a Magneto Movie. So keep your chin up, more mutants to come.:smt038

They may want you to believe it was the last one, but with the success of the series I'm sure it will be back. Maybe with new characters, but I'm sure it will be back.

I've got to go see it!

I watched the first two earlier this week. Mayhap I'll take myself to see this last one sometime this coming week.

We(friends) tried to go Friday night but it was sold out.

Joe and I are going to go to a wednesday matinee and see it! woot!

I don't think it'll be the last one...there are too many cool mutants they need to feature and some (*cough Storm(or just Halle Barry)*) they need to drop.

Like I said everyone may want another movie, but after you see it, I think you'll understand why I say it is more than likely the last XMEN movie.

Did you watch after the credits?

I was going to ask that too. I heard on another forum there's some kind of "teaser" after the credits. Didn't hear what it was, though.

oh yeah..it's a teaser alright...I had to explain it to Joe TWICE! :-D It's definitely not from the comic book mythology but could be very interesting in X-Men 4.

Which teaser are you talking about??? Is it the Mag thing. If so read earlier post about a Mag movie.

No the teaser after all of the credits.

Actually now that The Doc informed me what it was I know what ya'll are talking about. To Lyla now that I know what it is, it was in the X mythology except it wasn't exactly how they placed it into the movie but if you go back to the late 60s you'll find that it did happen almost exactly like they say it did with just one or two differences.

Thanks for all the info though. I'll check out my bootleg copy to see if I can see that. LOL:smt038

wow...it doesn't surprise me that the story happened(or a version of it) in the comics..I'm most familiar with from the 1990's, late 1980's, forward.

The comics remind me so much of the soaps though that wild, bizzaro things happen all the time and it's just part of the norm! :)

Saw it tonight. There will definitely be another, given what Magneto did at the end while playing chess and the teaser at the very end. BTW, why the hell wasn't Magneto in prison since he killed about a squillion people?

I thought it was real good and enjoyed it immensely. Definitely a must-see.

He wasn't in jail cause he just disappeared, like before. Can't wait to see his and wolverines movie. Plus Ghost Rider. Man that looked cool.

Yeah, the Ghost Rider movie looked cool. I like Nicholas Cage anyway.

First ...

<snip> why the hell wasn't Magneto in prison since he killed about a squillion people?</snip>

Exactly how many is a squillion? Is that like a squid-billion?! ;)

Secondly ...

If you think this is the last movie, you've never watched Soap Operas or read comics! We NEVER see someone's body, someone else is called the Pheonix! for a reason, and then the thing at the end-end.

My wife and I finally had a 'date' to go see this movie together. Sucks this late, because you get a theater full of talkers b/c most of them have seen the movie before, and the theater's smaller, so you can hear the talking more...

Anyhow, we both thought it was a little short on storyline. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed it, but it left us unfullfilled, so to speak.

Then, in the end, we both saw something completely different when Magneto is sitting in the park. Did the piece move using his powers or his hand?

It was his powers, basically the "cure" doesn't work.

See, that's what I thought, and my wife thought he touched it with his hand...
