Need french-speaker

Hi everyone. I am looking for someone who speaks French or knows of any french-speaking groups in the area. I know of a local elderly woman who barely speaks English and she needs some people to communicate with. I can barely understand her and she is in need of help and is lonely.

Lindsey, It may not be a bad idea to contact Southern Miss. Specifically contact the Foreign Language Office and tell them the situation. They may know of local groups that could offer her some assistance. Contact the University switchboard @ 601.266.1000 and they will direct you to that department. If you don't eget someone through the International Dept at USM, I have a person in mind. My first suggestion would be to call USM.

i took four semesters but i dont think that i could understand a native...however, my french teacher at southern is from France. she might be able to help you out. i would def contact the foreign language dept. at USM or the international dept. might be able to recommend a foreign student that may help.
