This Friday is the last edition of this newspaper. I know that many will be sad to see it go.

Though i may have given it a hard time in the past i will be sad to see the independant go....every market needs competition

I posted something to that effect on QM's initial thread about the new publication. I think there's a market for an online publication that continuously "scoops" the other media outlets.

How about maintaining an online version of the Independent? I'm sure there are advertisers out there who would support such a venture.
