View Full Version : isn't there anything
Isn't there anything we can bet on? I'm sitting at home bored and depressed.

some late baseball games on tv.. check your tv guide any of them on tv
CBelt, make it multiple-choice and $888 and you're on! lol
Noway, KC's at St. Louis. Guess I could watch the deadbirds get beat. lol I think Smirnoff Twisted V raspberry is calling my name.
Okay, read it again, CBelt...I bet you $88,000 that you know the color you're thinking of too!!!!!!!! lmao
Raspberry must have been calling someone else's name first. All that I found in the fridge was a triple black. Oh well, good enough.

Let's have a drinking party... who's got liquor? I guess everyone would... I've got a bottle of sweet and sour that's calling my name...
Okay, here's the choices jmb:
1) Chartreuse
2) Magenta
3) Marigold
magenta
I drink if I'm wrong, right?

nope, chartreuse...
I'm drinking a tequila sour with about a 1/2 cup of tequila in it... it's a 12 oz glass... I'm feeling pretty good now... I think I'll fix me another.
I'm drinking the triple black, but I like the raspberry better. Quick trip to the liquor store. brb

Here's another if you want to go double or nothing...
Here's a list of the things on the counter where I'm currently typing. Which of these things is not an object on the counter. It's not a trick question.
1) A spindle of cd's
2) A 'Cars' sandal
3) A Coke cup full of pens
4) A Watch
5) A Telescope finder scope
5) A Googly-eye
6) A Packet of ketchup
If you guess correctly, I'll give you $100,000.
Good thing the liquor store's only 4 blocks away.

I think the second #5 is NOT on your counter.

Actually, there IS a googly-eye on the counter top.
I'll give you one more chance...

I'm not surprised! lol When I turned the game on, I said to Chris, "That's fuzzis' team." He knew exactly who I was talking about. :-D

No, a ketchup packet is not on the counter. Currently, there's the monitor, phone base, keyboard, mouse, ream of paper, 'Cars' sandal, keys, cd spindle, coke glass full of pens, a watch, two medicine bottles, telescope finder scope, screwdriver, bottle of super glue, broken game peices, googly-eye, zip ties and a bottle cap.

Don't tell anyone, but the Cards are my *second* favorite team. I know that there are people who cannot understand that (1985 and all), but I rationalize it as my favorite AL and favorite NL teams.

Shoot, I started to guess ketchup, but then I thought about what you do for a living and I thought it would be appropriate. Oh well, I lose again! lol Thanks for entertaining me.
Fuzz, your secret's safe with me. There's only one team in MLB I don't like, and it's not KC. I remember that series quite well. We were moving and listened to one of the games on the radio while driving. That was before cell phones, so hubby and I made gestures to each other from our cars.
