?? itty bitty things in right hand corner????

I heard about someone being punched and saw that there's a glove and other things up in my right hand corner. What are they for? OK I already punched myself. I got that one and I don't have a red triangle anymore. It used to blink on alot. Does the battery or lite bulb need changing?
