The Weather Man

The Weather Man is one of those movies we rented and after watching felt like from the previews that we didn't get the movie that we thought we were.

However, I liked it. It's different like American Beauty and Napoleon Dynamite, not really a comedy, drama. Although it does have subtle comedy in it. Just kind of picks up in the life of Dave Spritz, Chicago weather man. Nicholas Cage is really good in this one as well as Michael Caine.

I saw it several weeks ago and like you thought it would be different. But I still liked it too.

I hated this movie- thought it was going to be funny and it was aweful.

yeah we thought it was suppose to be a comedy..the previews made it seem that way. But it's a really deep movie..when we put it in the DVD and the menu came up I could tell it wasn't going to be a comedy..just had a darkness about it. But still good to me..if we had rented it the night we first thought about probably wouldn't have liked it so much since we were in the mood to "hee haw" laugh at something.
