Neighborhood Enhancement Team/Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms Task Force?
Didn't they used to be cops?
Wynn should remember that 9 of the 10 most wanted are still out there.

How much more is a press conference going to accomplish than that article did? How much new info are they going to give us?

And is David Wynn going to sit with his arms folded, looking over the top of his glasses, like he couldn't even be bothered?

There wanted poster listed this individual as living on Mamie St. Your telling me they couldn't have sent a plainclothes officer earlier, I mean a lot earlier and started knocking on doors and possibly have arrested this guy a long time ago.

Wynn says they got him and thats what they are trained to do. Weren't they trained to do this when they went throught he Police Academy. Hmmm sounds like it would make a good movie. Policy Academy 8: Hattiesburg. LOL:smt038

smoke and mirrors people- smoke and mirrors.

By having a press confrence it appears that they are really protecting us, doing a good job, and that we are all safe.

Yea right- Look at today's community Diary- another "attempted" home invasion. Shots were fired...The guy was hiding in his kitchen.

With the additional police officers leaving- just how safe are we. Why doesn't someone ask that question today at the press confrence. Screw Chris Moore- he doesn't need any more press- ask the hard questions while you have Chief Wynn in front of a Mic.

Wouldn't the HPD's time be better spent catching the other 9 most wanted, than talking about the one they did catch?

Let them have their moment in the spotlight. Hopefully they'll give credit to the actual officers who were responsible.

Just don't let em forget about the other 1757 people who need to be arrested. And that it's going to take more than the amount of officers that we have now to really make a dent in crime.

Hey, I'm not doin' anything Thursday afternoon, think they'd let me go arrest some folks sort of on a voluntary, police auxiliaryish basis........I've got my own gun.

I ain't got any cuffs, but I tie a mean square knot.:smt068

LoL, doesn't my husband wish?!?!? :) ... I watch alot of the TV Show "COPS" ... police in bigger cities use them instead of regular handcuffs ... it's faster and they don't waste time locking and unlocking keyed cuffs ... :) This coupled with the fact that my father is ex-military and an ex-cop out of Jefferson Parish ... he's showed me all kinds of time saving, effective little tricks :)
