Reputation?

Ok i'm back for another question! how do you give someone negative and positive reputation points? and then here's another, how do you agree or disagree with there posts? i know this alot at once but i'm new and confused! thanks!

HCF, in the upper right section of each post, there's a scale. When you come to a post that you want to either agree or disagree with, click on the scale. Choose the agree or disagree box and enter your comments. Yesterday the comments weren't showing up, but it still added to or took away from reputation points.

jmb, it could because i am new, but in the right hand corner of all posts but the ones i posted it shows a caution sign or watever it is.

I'm not sure, but new members may not have access to the reputation system until they hit citizen status at 20 posts. This was to help prevent someone abusing the system through new accounts.
