I would hope the press conference doesn’t occur on City Hall steps. The hot air would only contribute to the sweltering heat.

Sounds like the the mayor put the squeeze on Carter. How many bus loads of fraudulent voters can you register in a week? Only the working against them is one less Mt. Cocaine van.

The voters of Ward 4 should have already registered to vote when they moved into the Ward. This seems fishy... though I'm not suprised.

Watch what happens at city hall next week when people are brought in from far and wide to register. The good reverand will most likely be there to oversee and manipulate. It happened during the last elections. There was a nice lady who was ran off from her job for trying to do the job correctly, the reverand seen to that. I think most of you know who she is. Just a suggestion: have someone(s) there representing your interests in ward 4 to make sure all is above board and legal.

I agree...can't someone with legal authority be there to watch over these things?

We will all see what difference a week can make. Fairley & Co. were caught off guard by Red's quick exit and little visit from the FBI, but Charles Lawrence put in overtime to find a way to stop the dash to registration line.
Does anyone know if it will possible to review new registrations this time next week? I predict the line will be long!

I'm not sure what the legal process is concerning voter registration about who is qualified to oversee that registration is done legally and correctly. However the reverend is not qualified and has no business interfering with the process. You as a citizen can observe and take notes, if you see or hear anything that might be questionable you can file a grievance with the election commissioner.

Another local Reverend continues giving all us preachers a bad name
By filing lawsuits, dealing, flipping and taking the cities mainframe.
He gathered several leaders and made a demand for racism to be erased.
But instead of witnessing some changes, all he witnessed was a police chase.
Now Red Bailey is leaving the council and it is hoped that a brother will take the seat
And with the minority votes now going 3-2, Carter and Kim Bradley they can defeat.
Glory Glory
