ATMs....... we have had the most atm's come up missing lately!!! And they all seem to be coming from the shell (finishline) stations. One was stolen out of shell on Veterans Memorial and one from the shell on Hardy St. Must be the new thing on the street to come across. So anybody know how much there going for

do you mean before or after the hoodlums tear them up to steal the money out of them?

No, offense, how the h*** do you go stealing an ATM machine? Do you distract the clerk and pay for you drink and walk out with it under your shirt or what?

The people that got caught 6-7 years ago are now getting out of prison and know they can get away with it now.

Wouldn't that be on tape or video? Wouldn't a heavy duty dolly work? Wouldn't you need an inside accomplicewho works in the store?
How much money is in those things anyway?

There's probably a couple thousand dollars in each one, and is a pretty easy score if they're not bolted in correctly. Problem is, the places all put the ATM by the front window, so all you have to do is break one window, tie your chain around it, give it a good tug or two, and then throw it in the back of the truck and you're gone in less than a minute.
I thought those things were bolted in really well, as the stupid crook videos usually show (bumpers being ripped off, etc).

then theyll have to add servos for motion detection and gps units for location detection
please dont give them any ideas, theyre already charging me enough per transaction...theyll use that as some BS excuse to charge me 3 bucks per transaction instead of 2

This auction is for a NCR ATM Class 5670 Machine - please take a look at pictures of how the unit looks like: hard drives weren't there when received, found some cash inside, but removed it immediately for security purposes, maybe there's some left in those drawers that wouldn't open ;) Unit was removed from a working system, so I can only assume all should be in a working order; it has few floppies, some roll of paper, no lock on the safe, guess you'd need to put your own.
This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ATM-Machine-NCR-5670-loaded-w-tons-of-cash-kinda-P_W0QQitemZ290009526056QQihZ019QQcategoryZ55845QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) one looks highly suspicious to me! LOL
