Will the Cubs sweep the Cardinals or will the Cardinals save face and take game 4 of the series? I struggled with this one but finally decided to have faith in the Redbirds. Why. I don't know. Surely they can win one game against the Cubs.

The Devil Rays whooped up on the Yankees yesterday. Will the Yanks retaliate today?

St. Louis is doing it...letting the Cubs beat 'em 4 in a row. 5-2 top of the 6th Come on, Redbirds...do something!!!!!!!!!:smt119

Phillies/Marlins are playing a double header today. Since we didn't know that, our bets are on the first game, right?

I'd assume... last few weekend bets were double headers...

Thanks, CBelt. I hadn't noticed.

I'm doing pretty well, today...

I'm doing okay, better than yesterday. Can you believe the Cardinals lost again? They should hide their faces and run.

I can't believe the yanks let tampa score any runs at all...

One thing I've learned, but will keep doing to opposite, is that it's really any mans game on game day. That's why they have to play a series to see who the better team is...

You are so right. The worst team out there can (and does) beat the best. If it were foolproof, there would be no wagering.

Cubs sweep the Cards! Harry Caray would be so proud! "CUBS WIN!! CUBS WIN!! CUBS WIN!! -- HOLY COW!!"

Harry would be buying the house a round! Unlike most Cardinal fans, I like the Cubs too. Despite their historically bad record, their fans stay true to them. And Harry...God bless him...it's just not the same without him.

except for the cardinals and the sox, not a bad day...

The meltdown against the Marlins in the '03 NLCS was so hard to watch. Here the Cubs were 5 outs away from the World Series only to utterly choke, and then get routed in game 7. It's almost like Ole Miss baseball when the CWS is on the line. :(
