Yesterday, I came home hot & tired. I was getting ready for a shower & noticed the dog was out of food. My girlfriend was on the back porch smoking a cigarette ( she knows I have asthma & voluntarily does not smoke in the house) she saw me getting re-dressed as I started to go to the store for the food & she said, go ahead & take your shower I'll run to the store.
Before the Hurricane made her rental house uninhabitable, I had lived alone for a long time. I guess I forgot how nice it is not to have to do everything yourself.
So, I just wanted to start a thread where all of MH could tell their significant others how much we appreciate how much easier they make our lives.

Wow, this has the potential to be the shortest thread EVER. :)

Doc - does Mrs Doc read these? I hope so cuz your wife is pretty awesome!
My husband took on a lot of medical issues with my son when he married me. He has totally jumped in to help my son get the best medical care. Now he's working extra hard to provide so I can follow my dream of becoming a nurse - hopefully all the way to nurse practicioner. He can be a little rough around the edges, but that makes him all the more fun!
My husband is my best friend too. I think that's how it's supposed to be. It's fun to watch him play with our daughter - big guy with little baby...
I appreciate the fact that I know when he's out of town he doesn't fall into the pattern of many of his coworkers. He'll go out and get a good meal, then go back to his room. I hope he knows how much I respect that.

Sympathies noway, my ex-wife kept her rings too.
I think whoever causes the divorce should give up their rings.

A good relationship can be based many things. In my case I live with a woman who I have been close friends with for 20 or so years. Finally, we both just said, what the hell, both of us are alone, let's see what happens. It's worked out great. We're both very happy with our situation.
Dang noway! Are you ever going to forget that ring. If you do get it back I want to wear it for a few weeks-it must really be awesome. Ha Ha

My wife and I have been married for near 5 of the 10 years we've been together. I couldn't make it without her. She's A#1 in my book. I don't know how she puts up with me. I guess I'm just lucky.

CB I'm still in the "with" phase. but, things are lookin good. I was looking for a CD of ZZTop MP3s in my truck yesterday. I came across a string of (rather expensive) pearls, still in the box. that I had bought for (well let's never mind that(just remember ladies, never dump your boyfriend just before Christmas))
Aaaaanyway the SO will be getting a nice surprize this evening.
Thanks for all the comments.

They were in the glove box.
I'd totally forgotten about them.

My husband Bill is smart, a born leader, compassionate to the poor and great father. Sure he's slipped up a few times... O.K. a lot of times, but he always says he's sorry and loves me deeply.
