This is a facinating 3 page story on lockpicking and bumping locks, which does, in fact, work. I've done it a few times at work, but never made the broad connection that it could be done over all the place with different locks. Makes me wonder, is any lock safe?

I've always been facinated with picking locks and lock picks. Maybe I should be a locksmith???

My cousin is a locksmith (the brightest bulb on the tree he is not)
He has told me horror stories about how vulnerable locks are.
I used to own a '72 dodge. I came out of the grocerystore one day walked to my car unlocked it & got in. thats when I noticed it wasn't my car. The owner saw me & came over. I appologized & we experimented both our keys fit both cars. I later found out that some car companies only make a few dozen different keys for all their cars & that some car thieves take advantage of this by just carrying around lots of keys. Most of what we do in the way of security is just for our peace of mind. If somebody is bend on theft/crime they'll find a way.
THIS IS WHY GOOD LAW ENFORCEMENT IS SOOOOO NECESSARY!!!
