View Full Version : Dixie Youth Baseball: Moving to Tatum Park?

I hope the mayor and city council will allocate the funds needed to move the Dixie Youth (http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060804/NEWS01/608040310/1002) and Little League programs to Tatum Park.

IMO, keeping kids involved in recreational programs goes a long way toward keeping them out of trouble.

My child was involved with Dixie Youth Baseball this summer. The park is ok, but the area is high traffic and has lots of parking issues. I can see the potential for a child getting seriously hurt there if it does not move.

im all for moving the park to somewhere more safe

but what will happen with the adult baseball/softball program?
