Went as a family unit to see Barnyard today. The premise of this movie is Odie, the younger cow, is being groomed to take over the barnyard after his 'father' steps down as leader, but young Odie doesn't see the importance of togetherness and would rather party.
This movie had it's moments of laughter, but it also had it's moments of dragging on. My 4 year old got bored at parts, I got bored at parts. All of the bovine had udders weather they were male or female. This was a very hard thing to get around, but by 1/2 way through the movie, I was getting used to it, until they did another full body shot and young Odie had his 4 udders standing fully at attention. That part is just strange...
Also, the cows were treating milk like we treat beer. I didn't get it...
Through all of the above that were nagging in the back of my mind, the movie provided plenty of laugh out loud moments for the money.
The movie's a renter, unless you want to take your family to the movies, in which this movie is okay to see.
