Went as a family unit to see Barnyard today. The premise of this movie is Odie, the younger cow, is being groomed to take over the barnyard after his 'father' steps down as leader, but young Odie doesn't see the importance of togetherness and would rather party.

This movie had it's moments of laughter, but it also had it's moments of dragging on. My 4 year old got bored at parts, I got bored at parts. All of the bovine had udders weather they were male or female. This was a very hard thing to get around, but by 1/2 way through the movie, I was getting used to it, until they did another full body shot and young Odie had his 4 udders standing fully at attention. That part is just strange...

Also, the cows were treating milk like we treat beer. I didn't get it...

Through all of the above that were nagging in the back of my mind, the movie provided plenty of laugh out loud moments for the money.

The movie's a renter, unless you want to take your family to the movies, in which this movie is okay to see.

I took the kids to see it yesterday and they loved it (ages 6 & 7). I got kind of worried when the death occurred b/c my daughter always cries when animals die in movies and shows, but she didn't. We can't watch Old Yeller at my house. Anyway, they loved it and it was fun. I love to take them to the movies. There have been some really cute movies out this summer.

We took our kids to see it last weekend. Other then me having to get on to the group of kids next to me for being rude we had a good time. So my rant on this is.........some adults either a)dropped off a loud group of around 8 boys ranging in age of 8-12 or b)the adults were in another movie. Regardless of which one I didnt appreciate it at all. There was a baby crying for his mom in the row in front of us. Everyone of those rude boys were yelling SHUT UP to the baby. I didnt like this at all and I could feel my blood boiling. After biting my tongue I had to say something. I leaned over to the one next to me and told him that I dont want to hear him say that again or I would ask for someone to escort him out. He was standing up leaning towards the baby. Sure hes probably raised that way at home but its not right! I had a feeling that the group of boys were going to be trouble from the get go......before the movie started they were dancing and yelling. WHERE WERE THE PARENTS?!?! They were too young to be unsupervised. Maybe Im old fashioned? Nah cant be, Im still young LOL
