I LOVE reading stories like this (http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060812/NEWS01/608120301/1002) and hope that when I finish nursing school I'll be able to volunteer in a capacity to provide the ability for more bedridden and otherwise uncapable people the opportunity to at least get out of their patient rooms if not out into the community.

Our church has a 25 passenger bus that I would LOVE to see put into service. We have several interested people that want to help in a bus ministry. I'd love to see it used to a level that would help me in my desire to get people like in the article out of their rooms. We'll see where God leads.

lacey kelly v.f.w.3036 here in hattiesburg(of which i'm a member) goes to collins every month and holds parties and bingo sessions with the vets. we also go to the home in boloxi. this is a very moving experience. we also provide free transportation 3 days a week to the hosp. in jackson. this is for all vets, black or white, b/c we are all a band of brothers.
