Quite possibly the sadest movie I have ever seen, but had the most powerful message. It makes you never want to leave your pet!

In the Antarctic, after an expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren (Bruce Greenwood), the sled dog trainer Jerry Shepherd (Paul Walker) has to leave the polar base with his colleagues due to the proximity of a heavy snow storm. He ties his dogs to be rescued after, but the mission is called-off and the dogs are left alone at their own fortune. For six months, Jerry tries to find a sponsor for a rescue mission while his dogs fight for survival.

its a tough one..but the overall message is a good one and its a disney movie if that helps...lol..but i understand..i didnt know any of this going into the movie but its a good movie

this was an excellent movie. any person who owns a pet should see this movie. if you don't want to pay to rent it, you can check it out at the Hattiesburg Public Library on DVD.
