This is the plan.. Any questions?

If you have over 100k in the bank you need to donate it to hubcab. hubcab will donate hubbucks to the members that have less than 100k. Hubplaza will keep up with the transactions and you will get your money back after football season. Football season was alot of fun last year and members not having millions of dollars made it better. Lyla will post college games and noway will post the NFL Games. Having two different banks, not able to bet on other vbookies, earn money etc.. is to confusing IMO..

Vbookie league info..

1. Post 10-15 games each week NFL & College
2. One dollar bets ONLY
3. Use the Danny Sheridan or Sportsline spreads
4. Post games on Tuesday, Thread will close Saturday Morning
5. Saturday & Sunday Games Only
6. Thinking on the tie breaker each week
7. Checker Combo to the winner each week.

I'm trying to find other prizes to give each week, and then to the overall winner of the league.

Last year was alot of fun and with the bank rolls members have now it will hurt the excitement of vbookie. The members that were around last year will remember what I'm talking about.

I'm open for suggestions.. so speak now and not whine later..

Transactions need to be done by September 1st..

If I need to do anything in order to participate in this league, please let me know. As you can see, I don't have over 100K in the bank here (or elsewhere to my knowledge). BUT one dollar bets I can still afford!

I'm confused, if there are only going to be one dollar bets only, why should the ten or so of us that have over $100K have to donate all of our money over $100K to the wealth redistribution center known as "hubcab"?

Last fall I remember Hawkeye getting up to the "lofty" height of 200K, before losing almost all of it during the BCS title game. I'd rather give away money off of my interest as I've already suggested to help more ppl play, and keep the system we had last year.

What's the point in making good (and LUCKY) bets and good hub money management and then not be able to use it for football season. That is a lot of the fun for me!

One dollar bets are for the league only.. you will still be able to bet on other vbookies any dollar amount you want.. The one dollar bets are a way of keeping a record of everyones picks for the week.

My point about the money is..

everybody has to much money to bet on games. Last year it was a big deal when someone bet 10k... whats the big deal betting a 100k when you still have one million in the bank. I will bet 10 k, so what if I lose im earning 10k a day in intrest. Just alot more excitement when everyone is making bets according to the amount of money they have on hand.

Does that make sense everybody see what im trying to say..

a couple more things..

Hubba I know how you bet.. You will place 10 bets over 250k but have it so you will only lose 5k and you will be earning 80k a day in interest..

Also if I bet 100k on a game I know I'm friends with hubba and he will give me my 100k back if i lose.

Do you remember asking aaron for money so we could bet on the superbowl?

it was a rush, challenge, and fun..

Remember the college bowl game thread we had? Everybody bet one dollar so we had an offical record of everyones picks? It was just a way to have a record of who picks which team. Thats all I want to do for the vbookie league. Each week the member with the best record will win a prize. Then we will keep a running total from each week to determine who picks the most winners for the season.. So if Wilebill goes 10-5 but the next week he goes 5-10 his overall record is 15-15.. etc... 3rd week he goes 6-9 then his overall will be 21-24 (wins-losses)

Now forget the league forget the dollar bets...

Me & lyla will have other threads open for NFL, College, & World Series.. etc.. You can bet whatever amount you want on any event. Has nothing to do with the league.. The only thing I would want to do is everybody start with 100k..IMO it was exciting watching people bet with a small bank roll. And when we went ALL in a few times in our minds we didnt have someone sitting over there with 4 millions dollars knowing that he will give us some of his bucks if we lose or if I bet 20k on USM today I could be broke and have to post my BUTT off to get some more bucks to play next week.


I just do not see the excitement knowing that if I bet all my money on a sunday and so what if I lose.. Hubba has 4 million dollars Im sure he will loan me a couple hundred thousand..

Remember Hawkeye talking about the BLACK Sundays or Cbelt a few months ago selling checker combos so he could bet again..

KInda like SBELLE betting a 150 dollars when she has 150k so who knows maybe im just 10-92 LOL
