I remember some questions were asked about ticket sales vs actual attendance.. The announced attendance (ticket sales) determines the over/under.. :)

You know WHY you notice Go Gold signs everywhere??? It's because ever since they started the 'Go Gold' campaign, they've been giving out 'kits' to the local businesses that include one go gold t shirt, two yard signs, one pom pom, and several carded schedules, a poster schedule and a few other paper football items. They handed them out on Wed, I believe.

Actually, I bet "under" every single game last year and won. I based mine on this game on the quality of the opponent and on USM's poor performance against Florida last week. Also, the fact that No. 1 and No. 2 (OSU and the Steers) are playing on ABC tonight, makes me think that a few folks might stay home to watch that.

28,258 tonight according to www.southernmiss.rivals.com (http://www.southernmiss.rivals.com). I've crashed and burned this time...lol.
Congrats to the USM family for bringing out a good crowd tonight -- and to the Eagles on a lopsided victory tonight!

I went with a friend to the game who has seatback season tickets. Loved the fireworks and was glad our band played something other than Amazing grace. All American Idle songs.
When I walked up, I knew I lost the bet on attendance. I bet under.
I met Jennifer Lee and others from WDAM as we were leaving. She's from Cincinatti and has only been here since 2 Thursdays ago. She was real nice and pretty. So were the men I met.

I'm not a guy. I don't know about that.
There was a pleasant breeze blowing through some of the evening.
Has anybody seen Hub's post about when do you think MS. State will get some points?
Noway, did you have good seats?
I heard the attendance was 28,258 on Wdam.
Next week will be a harder team to play for USM.
Does anybody miss Cody Hull?
I heard he left because he felt he wasn't getting the support he needs here. He still loves USM and football.

What's that guy's name that was at the baseball games... something miller? The superfan? Was he there or has he moved on to FL like he said he was?

Was his name Sean Miller? If he was there,I never saw him. I was down in B section. He could have been there. There was so much noise from the crowd and the cheerleaders. Then the sportscaster makes noise.
If I'm not watching the game-I'm looking for Seymour. I like to watch the majorettes at half-time. That's a diminishing talent I hear. somewhere I reaad that it takes so many years of lessons and practice to begood that a lot of girls are doing flags etc; cause its more instant to learn.
I sat down the row from them at a baseball game. We were way behind and they were fun to watch.

Majorettes are a fading sight from marching bands. I'd be happy to see them go, because unless they are GREAT and never drop the baton, they just look stupid to me. This may be in part because in high school, during a 1/2 time show, a majorette got out of position and when she did some twirly thing, clocked me in the face with the baton. It was a COLD night, and that thing stung for the rest of the night. Ever since then, I can't stand them... hmmm.

I bet you do have no use for majorettes anymore. I bet everyone avoided that majorette after that. What did you play? I never thought about a baon hitting a band member.:smt102
