My power was out for about 20 minutes. I love my Coleman camping lantern.

The temp today is wonderful! I woke up to 54 degrees and it was fabulous! Looks like Fall has arrived (hopefully). The official start of Fall is this weekend. Maybe this also means a break for our power bills!

Anyone else loving these cooling temperatures?

We're having sweatshirt and chili weather. It was 41° when I got up this morning, has warmed up to 44° now. Was tempted to turn on the heater but settled for the oven.

My husband says I'm unbelievable. He left early early this morning and called to check in with me after I got to work. First question from his lips were, "how do you like this weather?" I stuck the phone reciever up to my heater that sits beside my desk, then asked him if he could hear it buzzing.

Oh, but it's only 63 degrees outside he says. I dislike cold weather.

Hot chocolate, Warm Jackets, fire pit in the back yard, Quilts, and one of my favorite things about cool weather, a warm grillcheese sandwich in both coat pockets while squirrel hunting.

the weather has been really bad here today. thunderstorms and heavy rain and lightning! a bit scary at one point. and to think - today is the first day of Fall...

You're right Southern Belle - the weather here between 5 and 6 was horrible with lightning, thunder and torrential rains. Afterwards though, there were 2 rainbows side by side over 98 West near Petro - they were mirror images of each other - just beautiful.

We went to the new Halloween store in the old KMart deli side, and saw the rainbows upon exiting. We took pictures in the parking lot. You could really see all 7 colors in the rainbow, which is kinda rare. The violet was BRIGHT, and the reflected rainbow was pretty awesome, too... plus, it was a full arc rainbow, which I haven't seen in a while... usually they're 1/2 arcs of late.
