Everybody seems to be betting on them, but I don't think they're a lock. Carolina is pretty tough. I bet on the Saints anyway, but not as much as my other bets.

I don't think anything is a definite when I bet my hubbucks.
Hoping for a better day today than yesterday.

Remember D'Angelo Williams from Memphis? He is now with the Panthers.
Usm only beat Memphis 1 time out of the 4 yrs. he was there. He is a good running back.
I have always liked Keyshawn Johnson. I know he requires special handling, but he can be funny even when he is the prima donna.

Well, Hawkeye. Are you safe? Anyone remember when the N.O. Saints let Jake DelHOmme go to keep Aaron Brooks?
I thought it was over and the Saints just made a touchdown. Maybe, I will cover my bet. Saints are going for 2 pt. conversion. will it go to overtime??????????a 3 pt. game.

Dead-gummit, lost another one in the last 90 seconds of play. Have to admit, I gave you a scare, huh?
:smt040
Yes, you did Hawkeye. I was scared.
Doesn't Carolina still have those 2 players from Ole miss? ! was tightend Wesley Walls.
Terry Bradshaw said he was impressed with the way the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints played. I have to agree. I am finally able to breathe.

Well, hell's bells. I quit watching after Carolina scored their last touchdown, thinking it was over as far as scoring goes, and missed the last Saints score! I don't know how they did it, but you've got to give the Saints a lot of credit for playing Carolina as well as they did (and also covering the spread :) ).

Some wild first games today.. That rookie reciever for the saints (colston) scored on a 70 yd td pass. He is going to be a good...
Did anyone watch the colts game.. I was back n forth with the saints game.. 103 yd kickoff return.. and on the last play the jets kept throwing it to someone else all the way down the field.. The fox annoucer on 1400 am said there is bodies laying everywhere..
A lock the rest of the year.. Bet against the titans.. The coach has lost control of the team.. Dallas beat them 45-14 today.. A titans plyer kicked a dallas player in the head after his helmet came off..

I hate watching games on CBS. What's with the way their colors are? Games look so much better when FOX shoots them.

That game was hardly a freebie...barring the Saints last minute busted play touchdown, the Panthers would have covered, and all the Saints' betters would have lost. :smt102 I thought after Ole Miss' Wake Forest performance last week, the Georgia game was a freebie...we see how that turned out :(

And if pigs had wings they could fly. What's your point? Ever heard the term "any given Sunday"? If any quarterback on any team were to get hurt, it severely limits that team's chances of winning. Anything could happen and it would change the outcome of any game. That's part of it - not being able to forecast the future.

So far I'm up 10K with the last game going to decide if I win or lose today. However, taking into consideration my interest today then that could change things by another 10K or so. Except if you take into consideration the interest I could have made if the college games had've paid off before interest is paid on on my bank account. Then there's the factor of how many pointless posts I make between now and then, and the length of said posts, which will only make my account rise, which is pure profit not subject to taxes, but also not drawing interest unless I go to the bank on a regular basis and deposit those funds. So really, there's the potential to make a lot of money depending on how much I feel like typing, or in extreme cases, how many long and pointless speeches I can copy and paste.
So all that being said, it probably bears repeating.

Which now begs the question - what was I talking about?

Well...yesterday I was up $250K before the Ole Miss fiasco. I ended up losing $1.1 mil. Today, the only thing I've touched is this game, which I admittedly bet peanuts on.
