Seems that Marion County is having a rash of teacher perverts lately...this is not the first one that has happened in the last couple of weeks/months...wtf is going on? GOOD way to waste a career!

Does anyone know this guy Harris? I grew up across the street from a family named Harris in Forrest County many, many years ago. They had a son named Stephen who would be about this guy's apparent age. The guy on TV kind of looked like what I imagine this kid would have grown up to look like, but I am not sure it is him.

Any more information on his background?

P.I. I am not for sure I have heard where he was from...I caught a snippet of the story on the 6 p.m. news..my understanding is that he is also being charged in another county also...not for sure which county though...I thought I heard something about Newton but could be mistaken...if I find a link, I will post it. Sounds though like he is in deep do-do!

Having seen the guy's picture, I would say with 95 percent certainty that he is the kid I used to live next door to back in the late 70s. His dad was in the National Guard and his parents got divorced and moved. This has to be him. Wow. Look how great he turned out.

I guess that 5% is going to get you. He is originally from Newton, MS not Hattiesburg.

Actually, just because he grew up in Newton does not mean he isn't the same guy. The family broke apart when he was very young and I don't know where he moved to. If he graduated from Newton High School they probably consider him from Newton, regardless of where he was born and spent the first years of his life.

Trust me, he is from Newton. He and his family are from Newton. This is not from what I have heard from the news, but personal knowledge.
