View Full Version : The Greatly Humbled Hubbarrister High School Pick-em Contest

In spite of my vbookie disaster over the past two weeks, I am starting my third High School pick-em contest with a $15,000 hubbuck prize (sorry, for the reduction, but my hub-gambling losses have caused this). I am going to post 16 games, and whoever wishes to play must copy and paste my list of games in their replies with their predicted winners. The deadline to reply is 6:30 p.m. Friday evening. Whoever picks the most winners, wins the prize. If two or more people have the same number of winners, I have included a tie breaker.

Rules:

1. If you have more than $500K, you are free to play, but all you will win is bragging rights. The second place winner will take the $15K, so long as they meet this criteria (or third place and so on). This is designed for our less fortunate members.

2. Everyone be nice, this week. Please follow the above instructions in making your picks (it makes it easier for me to tabulate the results)

3. EddieD, since you have won the last two weeks, I am going to disqualify you this week from winning the hubbuck prize just to spread the wealth, but of course you are free to make picks.

4. If someone (i.e. wilebill, somisstv, etc) wishes to "one-up" my prize, please start a separate thread with different games.

Oak Grove shallacked Forest Hill 62-6....given the political dynamic in the Jackson Public Schools, I was quite surprised that Forest Hill's mascot is still the "Rebels"

With apologies to my collegiate alma mater, "Hotty Toddy, Gosh Almighty, When's Forest Hill gonna beat somebody?"

Lucky! Seriously though, my dad and uncle were both coaches, so i grew up in a football family, but i just play around on here, keep up the good work noway & hub.
