I hope we do get some much needed rain...just hope things don't flood! I just saw WDAM weather, they said we were 18 inches short of rain for this year...no wonder everything in my yard is drying up and dying...I do good to keep the plants on my deck watered...I certainly couldn't afford to water the grass and other stuff around the yard.

yeah... but when the map moves, it looks like all the sever stuff will go north of us. unless a front pushes it southward.

I think it's time for me to go to bed. Just saw WLOX's update of a tornado warning in Marion County.

I thought I heard the USM tornado alarm horn going off about an hour ago. It sounds like we are in for big storms thru tomorrow nite. We need the rain but not the storms! So far today we have only received about 1/2 of rain in my rain gauge.

I never heard the USM alarm all night... It was a SLOW night, which really killed me, because we were looking at another record breaking week there.

Looks like this one was all puff and no stuff. Kept people home, though. It's so HUMID outside!!!

Ummmmm...yeah. This storm isn't playing now. It's 3:35, and the Weather Channel says a tornado north of Purvis. Tornado warning for Lamar and Forrest counties.

I swear that lightning hit right outside my window...lit up the entire neighborhood and the thunder shook the house. The cats and I are not feeling very good right now.

Stuck at work we could hear the heavy rain and thunder. It got pretty bad for a little bit.

The thunder was so heavy, I thought we were being bombed! :) The whole house shook...it must have really scared the bejebbies out of my little doggy...she was looking for her momma. She never gets scared of bad weather but boy she was having hissies with this storm...of course I had to pick her up and put her in bed with us...she soon fell asleep and forgot the storm..she was cuddled and that was all that mattered to her.

man, that was AWESOME!!! I really enjoyed that storm tonight...

I love how when I jump to conclusions about the weather, the opposite happens...

It's not going to snow before the end of the year, this year...

I normally wake up to go running around 430... when I woke up this mornng at 3 I thought surely it was time to get out of bed... nope, just bad weather. I'm terrified of bad weather! When I saw the tornado warning I almost asked my neighbor below me in my apt. complex if I could come in her apt and sit in the hall way so I wouldnt get blown away upstairs!! Needless to say, I didnt get to go running this morning. I guess the treadmill will have to do this afternoon :(

uhhh....there is a 4:30 AM on a clock? i didn't know that.......

i did see the lightning and the thunder....thunder shaking the house and all....kinda neat.....

but i was only up for 2 minutes, then went back to bed.....i didn't go until midnight since i was up stuffing envelopes, but when i did go to bed, it was misting outside and hot and humid as heck.....

yeah... I actually walked outside on my balcony for a second...right when I opened the door my glasses fogged up it was so humid!

Well it kept me up. Both of my dogs were so scared, and I was too at one point. The wind and thunder was amazing. I watched the weather channel for a little while, and finally went back to sleep around 4:15. It was definately a rough night.

I don't know I thought it was kind of a let down. I was expecting all this Horrible weather & all I got was a little rain & wind. I shouldn't have even bothered to bring the trash cans inside.
