I think the concept is called shape recognition reading. It'll mess you up with names & unfamiliar words though.

Yeah i learned about that in my psych class semester...one of my friends used to get a kick out of this back in high school and would spend her days writing notes to me in this form. its a neat concept though

It's also the reason that whole passages of capital letters are difficult to read.

Is there an easy way for you to explain exactly what is characteristic of this type of psychology?
Do you agree with it, or are you a proponent of it or not?
