Where did LUcas get enough money to buy all these distressed properties? Is there a silent partner or more? Or did all these people take one of these infomercial classes off late night t.v.?

I also heard that 1 or 2 women were charged with money laundering. Why would they need to do that and how? Is this to hide 'cause it is illegally gained money or money they don't want to pay taxes on? Or is this for someone else?

I always think of drugs or something to do with Mafia when I hear money laundering. My mother thought someone was washing it. It is in a way but not with detergent.

You have to have lots of kids, that way maybe one of them will be a success.. I thought one of his kids was OK and a productive member, how many children do they have?
I feel bad for the Rev and his family. What motivates a person to cheat like that?

what a complex scheme, to be operated by such inexperienced people. seems like the larger fish are swimming away. know what i mean?

I don't know that the bigger fish are getting away. In fact, they are probably a little nervous wondering how long Lucas will hold out with 5 new government witnesses testifying against him. I really believe that this one is far from over!

Cowgirl, that's exactly what I think. I think the the false prophet had his two plead guilty so his involvement wouldn't come out in a trial.

I agree with the two previous post...we can all pray that the sh** hits the fan soon. The rev. has been awfully quiet now for several weeks...I figure something is up...he has never laid low before! I told my husband I thought that maybe HE and "Rev. Al" had gone to a conference together or something since he has been A.W.O.L. too! :) lol

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't we see Sandra Fairley's name come up when all this mortgage flipping came about? I thought I remembered seeing her name connected with this.

Scooter, I am like you I thought I heard that too...also Mitch Williams. This would have been about 5 years ago...I can't remember just what it was all about though....maybe someone else can shed some lite! I could be wrong however...it would be interesting to know though!

I saw Rev Fairley leaving the court house on tv and he had a big smile on his face. What would there be to smile about-you a man of the cloth and your boys headed to prison-beats the heck out of me! I would be in tears if these were my children and I wouldn't be able to hold my head up quite so high going about town either. What audacity!

XC9 I was thinking the same thing. I don't think the rev. gets embarrased..did you ever notice that you never see the mother going to the trials etc. Makes me wonder why she isn't going to "support" her boys...

can somebody who has been following this for years please elaborate on the fairley/drug scandal, the actual charges in this mortgage thing, etc? I don't know much about it, but I would like to know more.
