From the news and weather I have heard this morning, it looks like we will be under the gun in a few hours...everybody stay safe and listen to the weather channel..it could be a rocky ride before long! Strong shelter will probably be a must!

So where is Noway tonight? :smt118

Now, I could have sworn that Fuzzis said she wanted a nice, strong man to keep her and Cobbler company. Where does noway fit into this equation? :smt118 :)

Hawk, it looks like most of it is going north of you. Hell, it's coming right at me!

And me!!! Yikes. I just thought it was supposed to rain. Looks like we might be getting some of the bad stuff!

Keep your eye to the sky and be safe.

You too!

This (http://www.spc.noaa.gov/climo/) is a good site to see what damage has already been reported and kind of let you know what may be coming your way. Click on the map to bring up text reports. I refer to it quite often when storms are threatening.

We're supposed to have rain all day and possibly rain and snow tonight, but nothing serious.

..a Tornado Warning Remains In Effect Until 1100 Am Cdt For Lamar
County...

At 1032 Am Cdt...national Weather Service Doppler Radar Continued To
Indicate A Tornado. This Tornado Was Located Near Purvis...or About
9 Miles South Of West Hattiesburg...moving Northeast At 40 Mph.

The Safest Place To Be During A Tornado Is In A Basement. Get Under A
Workbench Or Other Piece Of Sturdy Furniture. If No Basement Is
Available...seek Shelter On The Lowest Floor Of The Building In An
Interior Hallway Or Room Such As A Closet. Use Blankets Or Pillows To
Cover Your Body And Always Stay Away From Windows.

We're fine. The front yard and street are flooded. I'm hoping that we're done with the whole rain thing because if we're not, my car is going to be in trouble. As is, the water is about two inches or so from the bottom of the car. (the yard always floods)

I think we're fine now... I'm "out of the closet". Sebastian had fun... he found an empty duffle bag and went to sleep in it. Now he's fascinated watching the rain. Is this supposed to be the worst to come through today? Or we expecting anymore rough cells later on? Got it on weather channel, but they haven't said yet.

Hey folks... my internet and cable and satallite and everything have been down. Where in Laurel is the damage? I have no clue... just got everything back up. All I can say is that I live between Hwy. 15 north and the North Laurel shopping center, so my neighborhood is here! Got VERY dark... and stormed like crazy with sirens going off. If the tornado tracked from Hebron to Sandersville than it was VERY near me. Any info is appreciated! I don't want to be one of those nosey folks in the way just to go looking.

A friend of mine was flying back from Denver last night... he was sitting in a regional jet (smaller plane) on the runway during all that Dallas stuff last night. He said never been in anything like it... the plane, still on the ground and stopped, was raising and moving from wind and he said the baseball sized hail was slamming into it... sounded like nothing he has heard. Then, flight cancelled... so he flew in this morning and got it again in Jackson.
