Sounds like a good idea to me. Been to any college campuses lately? It seems to be the other way. At the OGHS-HHS game last Friday, security was checking everything with baggy pants and making them tuck those long shirts in. Sounds good to me.

I was at JCJC eatting lunch and a guy stood up just one table away revealing his red boxer-briefs -- his black pants were down close to his knees. He wasn't even wearing boxers. Just what I wanted to see with lunch.

I need to lose a few pounds. I would have laughed and lost a couple.
Kevin, the news was the 5:30 news right after live at 5 and one guy's pants were almost past his pelvis and he was having to hold them up. I wish they'd get a splinter in their seat.
Speaking of splinters in their seat- I know a guy who sat on a pier and let the boat pull him up to ski and did get a splinter in his seat.
Kevin, vbookie is just letting me break even or a bit under. the interest in the bank is far better and I have learned not to ask my sports consultant if he's hungry. :smt006

I''m not 100% positive, but I was told by someone that originated in prisons. It was used as a sign of availibility.... :smt102
In other words, if you weren't someone's b*tch already, you were free for the taking.

I don't know about since Katrina but before the storm law enforcement officers in Hancock County (city & county) were arresting the ones they came across with their asses showing. They were charged with indecent exposure. Before placing them in their patrol cars and taking them to the hoosgow they got "weggies!"

LMAO!! That's exactly what should be done to them. They're typically a group of low life thugs, hanging out together, and exploiting the government for every dime they can. They carry around a food-stamp card, but are wearing the most expensive boxers that can be purchased in the state of MS.

I was in line behind a guy the other day, a little on the heavy side and the waistband of his clam diggers (is that the correct term for the longer shorts for guys) were under his butt cheeks. eeewwwwwww...:smt078

My other half and myself were shopping in Turtle Creek Mall the other day and there was a group (or gang if you wish) walking through the mall and their pants were below their butts. The disgusting part of this is the guys were holding on to their privates. I wonder if it was for self gradification or the handle to keep their pants from hitting the floor. I know that the HPD is suppose to arrest these thugs for loud music, but I would rather hear the music instead of seeing their instruments. You would think that mall security would have some authority to address this situation.

Mall security has no arrest power unless it is an off-duty officer. The regular mall security people have to hold them and call HPD. WE ALL KNOW they can't attend to such trivial things as short handed as they are. :(

I read where at least one of the malls in Jackson has a dress code and if they aren't dressed properly they make them leave.

Some things shouldn't be clearly seen.
I don't understand what the allure of these pants is. I see kids coming out of school with them hanging down like that and they can't even run in them. Besides impeding movement, they totally hide the butt. At least the part that doesn't hang out. There might be a nice one hiding under that waistband. My boys don't wear them, that's for sure.
