Okay, here's the rules:

1)copy and paste and choose the winners either by highlighting them or writing the projected winner by each game
2)you must pick all games (Hawkeye's rule). any unpicked games will result in disqualification
3) The winner is the one who picks the most correct games without being disqualified for rule 2
4)all participants agree to donate $1000 to the winner, or some MH member will donate a sum to the winner. The larger sum will be the prize. (I don't have the money to pay a large payout, so we're going to have to do a pool or rely on the generosity of the more well-off members, sorry)

Let's just go ahead and pick all 40 games... I'm getting myself in for one hell of a headache on friday night... oy!

all participants agree to donate $1000 to the winner, or some MH member will donate a sum to the winner. The larger sum will be the prize.

So does this mean if somebody donates a large sum of money that each participant does not donate $1000 or is that in addition to each participants $1000. I don't mind each person donating the 1000 because each person has a chance of winning the money you put in and makes the pot that much bigger. Hehe

I'm trying to make this as unconfusing as possible... LOL! To answer your question, no, each participant will not have to donate 1000 now that barrister has offered a $75,000 payout to the winner. Now, if we get 76 people playing, then it would be $1000 from each person, unless someone wants to up barristers offer...

I was going to offer 100K like I did last time. I didn't know I was going to have to compete with someone who's not even here or I'd have offered it an hour ago.

Fair enough, I'll up it to 100K, if wb will offer a lesser amount to the 2nd place winner.

Welcome back... I guess.

Hubba donating 100k for first and wilebill 50k for second.. Sounds like a very nice thing for them to do.. BE NICE:)

SoMissTV

Then, $100K goes to the first place winner...regardless.

So are you back for good, or only until the next time you leave forever?

wilebill
11-08-2006, 10:50 PM
Screw it. I donated 100K to this last week to help CB out with his game that I thought was a good alternative to the other. Now Hubba wants to ride in like a night in shining armor like nothing has happened and throw his hubbucks around to buy some friends like Barbie has to do.

I was just doing it to help out. I'll just give my hubbucks to the orphans. Any orphans around?

I noted the other day as that Hubbarrister guy was making his exit, he had only around $8,000.00 in his account. Further, I noted he made no bets on the election bookie nor any other, yet today his account seems to have grown said account from $8,000.00 to over $2 million. How is this possible unless this fellow in in collusion with others in some sort of shady shill game?
Hawkeye, did you notice before he only had 8000 that he had around 1200000? Did you also notice that there was around this amount that was bet privately on the vBookie elections? If not, check it out? As noway says, his #1 richest person status here in hubbucks is legit. He obviously made some good vBookie election day bets.

The discussion is @ "Council Discussions". As a Council Member, you are more than welcome to participate. Do you represent Hubba in this cause? Can he not speak for himself?
Actually, even though it says that I am on My Hattiesburg Council, I am not. aaron told me that he doesn't know why that is by my name since to be a council member, you must have been a member of this site for 6 months and I have only been here for 4 months.

I don't represent hubba. I was just noting an observation.

wilebill, you can pay me the $100K for running this thing... it's going to take me as much time to tabulate the winner as it does for barrister to launder his money...

So, if TLT wins will hubba bitch about giving his money to someone who doesn't come on the site very often and who may (ha!) be an alias?

OK, I'm having 2nd thoughts about one of my picks. Is it OK to change it before the deadline? (If I do, it will probably guarantee that the team I initially picked will win)

So TLT, you know you're disqualified. You forgot to pick the East Marion/Mize game. Too bad you can't win your own money, I was anxious to see what you were going to do with it.

Well Sports Journal had the score wrong..I talked to some other people and they saw the same wrong score. Seriously you have two teams and you type the score next to the team is it that hard. have they ever heard of South panola you know the team that has WON 60 games in a row... geeezzzz...

Sports Journal is a piece of Sh!t.. Its a cluster every week with that show.. wrong tapes, wrong scores, mics not working, anchors screaming about a play they showed 10 minutes ago.. Im sorry they just suck..

Damn, I saw there had been 21 replies, and I was excited we had some people participating in the picks... should have known better... *sigh*

wilebill, you can pay me the $100K for running this thing... it's going to take me as much time to tabulate the winner as it does for barrister to launder his money...

We appreciate you giving us a fair chance, CB, without changing the rules. I don't mind how long it takes you to calcuate. I know I always lose anyway, but it's fun to try. Thanks for starting your own HS bookie. I didn't know anything about any of the teams, I just guessed. We'll see how bad I did.

Congratulations Bahlk!

I almost went back and chose Booneville instead of Amory. If I had, we would have been tied. I wonder who would have won on the tiebreak? . . . Not that it really matters now. Again, congratulations! :smt038
