Village Construction – Construction crews are making steady progress Tuesday on the Village, the University of Southern Mississippi's newest campus living opportunity for female students. Located on a 10-acre portion of land on the Hattiesburg, Miss., campus, the $18 million construction project is expected to be completed sometime during the 2007/2008 academic school year, and will provide additional housing for more than 350 sorority members and upper-class scholarship recipients.
