I use to play slow-pitch softball, but have gotten too "over the hill." I play golf now and am in a Ladies Golf Group. We have a ball!

I usually play city league softball in the spring and winter. I also love basketball (played in high school), but never get to play it much on a competitive level now. Also, just to be sure to be true to my geek side, I play table tennis (competitively in college)

vBookie mainly!! :smt118
I injured a knee a couple of years ago playing football with men younger than myself, and thus, I have been restricted somewhat in a lot of sports that I engaged in at a younger age. I still play golf a few times a year and I like to go hunting and fishing when I can get the time.
I'm still a heck of a spectator though. :)

I figure the more I exersize the sooner I'll wear out my moving parts, so I remain as inactive as possible, and consume as many preservatives as I can.
If my calculations are correct I should now have 136.7 times the shelf life of a Hostess Twinkie.
I hunt a little at the begining of bow season and to stay in shape, I run and take Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I used to play tennis (and was decent), but all my friends who played moved away. I'd love to start playing again.

I don't play any sports, but I do ride my bike when the weather is decent.

I play Where's My Glasses, Who Hid the Remote, and Find That Hairball.
Find That Hairball.
Don't you just have to wait for the cat for that one?:repuke:

The cat opens the game by making retching noises in the middle of the night. Then you play a round of "Where's My Glasses" followed by "Watch Your Step" -- who says old people don't have fun!

i played fast pitch softball, slow pitch softball, and basketball in high school.
now i just play slow pitch in the city league (when there are enought people to form a team). we should start a MH Coed team for the Spring! It is so much fun - and with this group, I know we would have a blast! ;-)

I used to play slow pitch softball on a city league. And then the x-boy broke my femur because he threw the ball so hard (and then tried to break my ankle). I haven't played since.

Our league never got that bad.
Ours didn't either. He was on the wrong team. We were interested in using the games as an excuse to drink (I think we were down in like a G league or something); he was interested in pulverizing other teams.

You must play well, when i played golf, I knew I had had a good round if I had any balls left in my bag.
Putting on my PJ's in the morning when I get up is a pretty good workout for me.
Funny, I measured the success of my game the same way. When I came home with the same number of golf balls I started out with I had had a wonderful round of golf. That and if I played with my son, not allowing him to throw me from the golf cart. He's a sick puppy. Loves to catch his dad not paying attention and making a sharp left. Where did I go wrong? I've also noticed, coincidently, that in the last few years his Christmas presents to me have gotten more expensive, but not necessarily things I need, but things he can use. Think there might be a connection?
Wait a sec.......you get up, then put on your jammies? TMI. I don't want to witness that visual.

I was a member of the second worst softball team in C league.
"The Edge Gift Shop Fighting Cocks" (named after our traditional pre-game beverage)
The only team we ever beat was Hattiesburg Paint & Decorating.
I managed in one game to foul out & hit our managers van three times.
Twice when he was parked behind the dugout, and once after he had moved his van under some trees. (That last one got his windshield)
I sucked at softball.
They made me catcher (though I couldn't catch worth sh!t) because when they put me in the outfield I'd start daydreaming & thunk! the ball would land right next to me & I'd go "Huh? Wahappend?
Plus I didn't like to run.
