While the story itself is relatively old.....this announcement of the final location is new. Now if the area will only support it, thats another story. But as a Earnhardt fan, I hope it goes over well.

I doubt DEI or any of the Earnhardts would sink their money into it unless there were plans for a NASCAR race of some sort in the near future. Mobile is a bit far for me to want to go drag racing, considering Hub City is only 4 miles from me, but I would certainly go to the other tracks that are planned...provided there is a big race of some sort.
