Favre was 20-of-37 for 174 yards, but failed to throw a touchdown pass. With two games remaining in the season, Favre needs eight more touchdown passes to pass Marino's career mark of 420.
Favre now has 4,974 career completions, seven ahead of Marino. Last week, Favre extended his record of most consecutive and overall seasons with 3,000 yards passing to 15.

I haven't kept up with Bret in the last couple of years so I don't know the answer. Is he getting that bad or, or his receivers that bad? Seems that everytime I turn on a Packer game he's throwing another interception.

Don't think anything's been said officially, but I think Favre's already decided to play at least one more season. I think the big reason he went thru all that angst about coming back this year was that he didn't see a lot of success in the Packers' future and the game wasn't fun last year.
This year, even though at times the Packers have looked bad, overall they're a lot better than last year, and I think Favre sees enough reason for optimism. He's having fun again, and I think as long as he's having fun, he'll keep playing.

I hope that you are right. I would love to see him break Marino's passing touchdown record.
Even if he does or doesn't though, it is my belief that in a few years Peyton Manning will break this record (but I hope that it is Farve's record that he breaks).
