The Mayor sure does have a way with words. "Crappy" lights? That should make the good folks who live on those other roads feel good. They can have the "crappy" lights.

We all have the crappy lights. They are what they are. The new lights are the good, non-crappy lights. Let's call a spade a spade and a crappy light a crappy light. Maybe he should have said 'sh!tty' light, so as to make for some real conversation.

President Truman, after delivering a speech to a Washington DC ladies society club was complimented by the ladies. Except for one lady who took Mrs. Truman aside and asked if she could please get the President to stop using the word "manure" in his speeches.

The First Lady said, "Stop him? It's taken my years to GET him to use it."

As CB said, all things are relative. James Moore

So I guess he won't mind if people say that we have a "crappy" mayor . . . to continue the honesty??

I think it's amuzing how much political the climate of Petal has become once someone actually started utilizing the office of mayor for more than a letterhead.

One day, if the current trend of demanding more than mediocrity continues in Petal, all the residents will thank the current admin. All one has to do is to look at the path that past Hattiesburg admins chose to take to see where that lead.
