I watched the interview after the game...it was really sad. He really showed alot of emotion (showing tears and could hardly talk). To be that upset I think he must have it in his heart to go ahead and retire. He said he would make an announcement probably within the next two weeks. Those of ya'll that v-bookie may want to start the bets!

I can't see him staying away from football even if he does retire...he may be a new coach around the area somewhere before long.

I think he retires for good. He went out a winner beating the Bears. Granted the Bears had alot of important personnel out of the game resting for the playoffs, but still it is hard to win regardless these days. It's about time he hung it up before he retires looking like a dried up old man like Marino did.

I'm kind of hoping he stays since he stayed this season. He could beat two more records including the most number of wins by a QB in the NFL by playing again next season.

IMO, Farve was never one for consistency. He's done some amazing things, but, to me, too often those amazing things were followed by something amazingly foolish.

I think that it would be best if he'd let it go. He's had a great run and left his name forever on the name of football. Best to leave while you're still thought of favorably, than to wait until people are asking you to go.

MY vbookie sports advisor thinks Brett Favre will play another year. He thinks Brett wants to bear John Elway, former Denver Bronco's QB, who has 148 wins as QB. Brett Favre hs 147.

Another record he may want to break is Dan Marino's record of most touchdown passes. Marino has 420 and B. Favre has 412.

Whatever hapens, I wish Brett well and support whatever he chooses.:smt038

Brett could very easily come back. Two Problems. One dianne she's feed up of it from what I've heard. Two,the Packers really haven't displayed to brett the desire to win ballgames by looking to free agency to fill in gaps of lost talent.Green Bay is the worst Major Sports Market Period. It's not a happening place and most high profile players want big markets to help their careers with endorsments etc.Packer's you have more available cap money than any team in the NFL by far get it out and proof it to brett.Oh,and yeah he will play another season.

I believe Brett will come back for 2 more seasons. The packers front office seems to be making an effort to get some free agents in that would help them be more competitive.
