I am serching for a bagpiper to pipe at a memorial service for my missing son, Billy Summers, who disappeared frm Bremerton, WA, in 1982 at the age of 21. After trying every way on earth to find him or find our what happened to him, we have decided to put him to rest after 25 years of that horrible "not knowing anything" feeling. I am from Lucedale and attended USM in 1954 - 1956. I would like to plan the service for the Spring of 2007. I would appreciate any anyoner can give me in locating a piper. Thank you very much. I join my friends here in expressing my sympathy to you and my promise of prayer for you and your family. I know a young man, names Lewis Waits, in Lumberton, Mississippi, who plays the bagpipes. His Dad is a Pharmacist in Lumberton, Mississippi...I think it's Waits Pharmacy. I understand that Lewis is in a "bagpipe band," in fact, with some folks at the University of Southern Mississippi.
