Kind of interesting you bring this up. I looked at the stats this morning and then thought about the bandwidth. After checking it, we're halfway through the month and already used 75% of it. I'm already at the maximum that the company gives out.

I told one person my "real name" once on a pm and that got out to others somehow,even though it was not my real name.
If ya don't want your real ID known be careful who ya talk to.
I told someone a lie about myself in a pm one time to,just to see if anyone else would find out about it,they did.
I told it also to see if I could trust a so called friend,with personal info,I learned my lesson.

No, I'm just going to have to come up with creative ways to get bandwidth from somewhere else. It's a good problem to have though, much better than logging in and seeing that you have had 2 visitors today, and one is you.

I don't get stats on how many pm's are sent. I would think a lot. I just have a stat that shows me how many boxes have 100 private messages saved, 101 private messages saved, etc. It's pretty useless unless your problem is disk space.

Yeah, my problem has little to do with space. This site has to have a powerful server (for all the people that are on at one time) and a lot of bandwidth (for all the people that visit in a month).

Yeah, several companies do that. I was with a company before this one that had more bandwidth than I could handle, but their servers were really slow so people would complain about slow pages, being kicked off, etc.

It's not a huge problem that I just can't deal with, it's just not something I check often, so that's the reason we have run out of it on several occasions in the past few months. If there's one thing every web site in the world wants, it's so much traffic they are running out of bandwidth.
