Well, it's that time of the year again, when the w2's make their magic journey into your mailbox. Adding mine up, yet again, I'm making less than I did the year before, and that's with a substantial pay increase this past year. What's going on??? I get a 13% pay increase, and I'm still making less than I did the previous year.

Now, I get bonuses, so that has a lot to do with it, but it's still disheartening to see that you keep making less and less money as the years pile on.

so, how'd YOU do this past year???

I made more on the W-2 from the main job, but overall I have less income in 2006 than in 2005 'cause I quit the 2nd job in August.

CB did it throw you in a different tax bracket and that is what is causing the loss?

No, I think the loss came mainly from the company switchover from franchisee to corporate. I lost about 5 months of bonuses in that time before corporate finally got around to paying out bonuses. A few of those months would have been really sweet, too.

That stinks. I know my husband was supposed to have a gravy bonus last year but when it came down to it we were shocked.
By the way We love Checkers!!!!
