Hey guys. My sister has a 1988 Dodge Dakota that need power steering fluid. Anybody know where the resevoir is? I think it's behind the fan belt down low. I've identified the break fluid, oil, transmission fluid. This has to be it by process of elimination. It's shaped like a plastic oil container?

Depends on the engine type, but usually its down low on the front driverside of the engine.
If you can't find it try tracing the fluid hose from the Power steering booster, located on the firewall in front of the driver, to the pump the reservoir will be on top of the pump.

on chrysler products the reservoir is somtimes on the passenger side. a sure way of knowing that it is the power steering is a cap that looks like a "sun" .......curved ridges around the lid. also i have seen them "integrated" into the side of the pump itself
