we all talk about Windows Vista and MAC OS X, but does anyone remember any of the old commands from dos? such as:
CLS
CD\
MD\
ATTRIB
dir and all the extensions, like /o/p
type readme.txt |more
???????????????

FORMAT, CD, and DIR is the only ones I've used in years.

i never liked using the \ since you could just space between the command and the target

here's a couple i just thought of-
copy con: <file name>
then came the good old "EDIT" program

deltree, dir/w/p, edit, /help, cd, md, .., *.*, ???*.*, etc.
I actually prefer using DOS when I'm looking for a file but I'm unsure of some letter in the file name. I hate having to use the ~key, though.
Nothing like a C prompt for deleting certain files. I'm much more comfortable doing it there than doing it under windows.

add /s to copy the system to it

hd/p I used that one alot... I think that's the proper way to hide a directory and require a password to open it.... us crazy teenagers...
