Welcome to the Doggie Style group. I figure we can list our dogs here.

I have a 2 year old shelter dog, mostly border collie, named Sydney. She's 28 pounds and very good natured. She has a lot of energy, and will probably wear out any other dog. She plays well with smaller dogs, as well as dogs her own size. She's never played with dogs larger than her.

I have an overweight lab who needs the exercise, named Hilda. She is a very sweet and loving dog. She plays well with others. Also I have a puppy, a Border Collie, English Springer Spaniel, bulldog mix. She is about 8 weeks old, and growing fast. She thinks she is as big as the 80 pound lab!

i have a mutt - he is a chidogle...a chiauhua, dachund, beagle mix. His name is Riley and he will be 2 in June. He is very energetic but very tempermental. he gets depressed when his friend Lucy goes away for the weekend (she is the chinese sharpe that lives with us) He too suffers from little dog syndrome and thinks he is bigger than most dogs. He is very sweet though and i love him to death!!! oh and he tears up every toy i give him except for his tiger - its the one toy that he hasnt torn up and had it since he was a puppy ( i think he thinks its another dog or something) its his close personal friend....and he can roll over and play hide and seek!!

Well, although I have bred, showed and sold WFT's for a bunch of years, I don't have any left at this time. We put our last Yo Yo down last year...she was 16...

OUR baby is BooBoo aka Maggie! She is a peke-a-poo and spoiled rotten...she understands english very well and can even knows how some things are spelled...ex. treat, ball, out! Too smart for her own good sometimes! She just looks like a fuzzy slipper except when I clip her down!

I'm sure some of you have heard me speak of my little satan spawn. He's a pomerian on steriods. I don't know what I would do with out him though. He's 16 lbs of ???? I also believe he's ADHD/ADD.

I found out just before Christmas that he tested high postitive for heartworms though. I have never been thru treatment before but I've heard from others that have it's harder on the parent than on the doggie. We had so much going on Jan and Feb we put it off. However, he goes to the vet Monday morning. We get him back on Tuesday and then he will have to be contained for 6 weeks.

Please pray for me!

City Girl, good luck with the treatment...been there, done that. One of my wires got heartworms a few years ago....he kept coughing...I thought he had kennel cough so I had him checked out...instead I found he had heartworms. We had him on heartworm preventative but apparently the dosage wasn't enuf.

He did fine through the procedure..it was just hard trying to keep him still afterwards...we kept him crated and that was hard..he wanted out to run sooo bad. When we did take him out to "go" we put him on a leash to keep him from running. He didn't feel real chipper for several weeks, I could tell the meds took a toll on him. I reckon it is kindda like people taking chemo, it just gets them down...anyway, good luck and my prayers are with you and your pup-pee... keep us informed on his progress.

Well, I just joined this group and thought I'd tell a little about my spoiled baby.

Levi will turn 4 on December 3. He's a 90 lb. registered Lab and has the most beautiful shiny black coat I've ever seen. He's super smart! I often think he understands what I'm saying because of the way he looks at me. There are certain things I say that he recognizes (i.e. "Where's daddy?"; "Where's your duck?"; "Let's take a bath; get in the tub"; "Go get the paper"; "Go", etc..) He's so funny when he meets strangers.. very skittish and apprehensive until he's been around someone for a while. He's super afraid of children, black plastic garbage bags, and belts, and won't have anything to do with them. He and my cat get along just fine and they often chase each other around; except when I tell him to love her. Then he walks up and sniffs of her head and starts licking her. Too cute. :)

My baby is named Dixie. A sweet 11 year old poodle. She is diabetic and takes shots two times a day. She is a lot braver than me about it. She also has congestive heart failure. Both problems are under control right now. She also understands words very well-and spelling words like cookies, ball and treats don't help-I think she can spell too. My husband will say "ask your mom" and she comes and stares at me like she is trying to tell me what she wants. Usually a cookie (treat). We love her as much as we could a child. Friday she goes to Dr. Ricks for her yearly shots. Thanks for this site.

I feel like I'm repeating myself here cause you all know about Tillie but here goes....I have a Min-Schnauzer named Tillie. She will be 6 months old the 30th.

No dog has ever made me laugh so much as her. She is just so friggin funny. She listens to headphones, jumps a lot actually about everything that makes her happy, and she LOVES her toys!!

I had a Weimaraner last month, but I sold her....I wont knock the breed, just they are not for me.

I am suppose to be getting a 3 year old Yorkie soon, named Lulu. It is not final just yet. I'll let y'all know when it happens.

I have a 'hybrid' named Ginger. I rescued her from the Columbus-Lowndes Co Humane Society. She was very very sick when I got her at about 8 weeks old. She had all kinds of worms and really bad kennel cough. When I initially took her to the vet he told me he thought she had a 30% chance of survival. Buut after 6 weeks of antibiotics..she was all better! She has been the best dog I've ever had, so sweet and loving. She's very well behaved, thanks to the dog whisper-- yes his advice works! She's just turned a year old and you can see her in my avatar. Not too sure what kind of dog she is a mix of but people have suggested beagle, greyhound, boxer, lab, whippit.
