They are doing a stress test of this game this weekend. If you have time, might be worth a look.

I had a friend in on the beta and he was pretty impressed by it. My only concern is it is being produced by Midway and not EA. For all the crap EA gets, the movie-licensed LotR were great. The book-licensed ones... not so hot.

Well, Turbine is actually handling it now.

LOTRO is doing a huge beta event where everyone is invited. They claim to have invited 600,000 people on their website. Just click below to get your key.

I just tried this beta out. I don't see a whole lot that would make me switch if I were playing WoW. Saga of Hereos looks better and LOTRO has very little PVP right now.

ive got a hunter on brandywine right now...been in since they opened it up

its alright...i think it has good potential...it just isnt much for people who want to solo.

Well, the thing with me is, there are free games that are almost as good as that. 9Dragons and Silk Road Online being two of them. If I were going to pay though, I think I'd have to go with WoW for pure content. It's tempting to jump in on new games though so that you can be the first to do certain storyline changes before anyone else.

wow is still the end all/be all mmo for me

i was the OT and towards the end the MT for a naxx level guild on warsong...before the xpac hit i kinda got bored with raiding and got my GM PVP gear

then xpac hit...i leveled to 70 then simply quit caring.

now im struggling to find somethin else to hold my interest...so far vanguard or lotr cant do it

speaking of which...anybody want a copy of vanguard? just start paying for the account and its yours.
