Good. He asked to be cut. Bitched about Sean Payton not "appreciatin' Joe Horn" (I hate when people talk refer to themselves in the third person). He was hurt all year and they did just fine without him. Take his salary and go buy a corner.

I actually love Joe Horn, but I am also a die hard saints fan. Joe is 35, so it was probably going to be his last year anyways. Obviously it would have been nice to keep him as a mentor as he is the clear leader of the team. You will probably see him go somewhere and phizzle out as a 3rd string receivier somewhere (like Jerry Rice in Denver). Would have loved to see him finish out as the black and gold warrior.

Horn signs with the Falcons. That may come back to haunt us.

They add free agent linebacker Brian Simmons and TE Eric Johnson.

The pick up of Eric Johnson could be large. He will fit in nice with the talented offense. This could be a big deal in my opinion.

They're keeping Fred!! He took a cut in pay, but it looks like the Saints are gonna keep him! He was due 3 million this year, but he's taking a cut.

Fred is good enough to be a Nickelback, especially since he took a pay cut. So now they need to land another DB, too bad they didn't get Ty Law last year.

I see a Robert Johnson on their roster, but no Eric Johnson.

Looks like Louisiana may be making progress at keeping the Saints in the state. http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070319/NEWS01/70319007&GID=7CGBMrArEhl6u/ej4gKIXCr2FPKNRspeCbtzlO3thZA%3D

Players reported to training camp at Millsaps yesterday with full practices to begin Friday. Also, they have signed all of their draft picks. This season is looking up already. Bob may have to swing up to Jackson next week.

I love to po my Louisiana fellow Saints bros telling them the Saints are leaving NOLA and coming to Gulfport or Jackson.
