Wynn thought he might create a thread that might answer the question, "What ever Happened to ______?".

Like what ever happened to Slim Good Body???
what ever happened to Captain Knagaroo???
what ever happened to the Wuzzles???
what ever happened to Voltron???

Post some ponderings for yourself & see if you can help the folk like me figure out "Wha Happen?".... :confused:

I miss Captain Kangaroo!! :( lol... I believe i have a Captain Kangaroo VHS tape at the house... Hm... I wonder how much that would bring on ebay...

Reading Rainbow was pretty good. Mostly because we got to miss class to watch it.

Hey! I can actually answer these!

The Wuzzles was Disney's first foray into Saturday morning animation. Unfortunately, it was put up against Disney's other animated show, The Gummi Bears. The Bears received much higher ratings, and the Wuzzles suffered. The death blow (quite literally) to the Wuzzles was the death of Captain Kangaroo, who voiced one of the characters on the show. This sealed the fate of the Wuzzles; I believe only 12 or so episodes were ever produced.

Voltron is still on the air, 4:30am on the Cartoon Network!

channel one? That was so boring- they always talked about the iraeli's and the pakistians but I didn't even know who those people were back then.

Yup, I saw him on TV a while back. The kids' show isn't in production anymore, but he still hits the speaking circuit. Some of his recent activity is on his Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Nye).

Mr. Wizard (http://www.mrwizardstudios.com/) is still around, but it doesn't look like any version of the show is still in production here. I used to love watching that on Nickelodeon when I was a kid.
