Dungeons and Dragons Online

I tried this the other evening, as a friend told me I should try it. It has a 10 day trial so what the heck....

It took me a few hours to go through all the downloading and patch updates etc. and I still have yet to make a char. I decided I wasn't even going to try it at this point, because at the intro, is it me or they don't have any music or sounds for the game?

Anyone play? what's your opinion as I'm still wondering what the draw is for this game...

I never tried it. Two games that I am looking at trying though are Vanguard and Lord of the Rings Online.

Who created vanguard? I've never heard of it...

Hmm, don't know, but it's a terrific looking game. From what I have been reading, it's looking to compete with WoW. LOTRO or it will become a second to WoW I'm betting.
