i need to take my uncle to the coast to a junkyard today, and have not one work of spanish in my vocabulary.
he has not one word of english in his......

Man, I deal with non-spanish speakers on a DAILY basis. Just smile a lot at the situation and point and grunt and take the opprotunity to teach English and to learn some of his language, too...
Everyone knows some Spanish, because England is so close to Spain, we have a bit of their language in ours... same thing for French...
I'm sure you know more Spanish than you think you do, and you can always point and grunt, which is what I usually end up doing with our non-english speakers at work.

well it was a interesting ride. had fun- only took 3 hours to get down and back.
now to try to figure out what the differences are between the US jeep and the europen jeep, 1993 grand cherokee, if anyone can give me that info
