I thought about him when the guy fell overboard while on a cruise ship this weekend. I wish I could find a link to the story. Great survival and rescue effort. Anyway, he should be getting back soon.

Didn't I read that the guy was drunk and jumped? They said because of his weight, he was very bouyant (sp) and that is why he was able to bobble up and down in the ocean for nearly 8 hours. His overweight status probably saved his life in this instance.

Different ship, same port... I'm still recovering from a hellatious week...

We never got off the ship, my wife pulled out her back muscle and we spent the week in the cabin watching dumb movies and cold room service... you can only take so many variations of turkey and tuna...
Ship doctor was great, though... where else can you see a dr without insurance for $60... anyhow... we thought that was the bad part...

Apparently there was a snowstorm in the north east while we were stuck in our cabin for 4 days, and somehow it affected our flight from orlando to new orleans, so we had the option of sleeping in the airport saturday and sunday nights or trying to find a rental place to rent us a one way rental from orlando to new orleans with a debit card.

Dave Ramsey made our life really hard on this one... Anyhow, JFYI, Thrifty rental car WILL rent you a one way rental WITH a DEBIT card only WITHOUT a return plane ticket to the airport you're renting from... YEAH THRIFTY!!!

Oh, yeah, US AIRWAYS SUCKS ASS!!! They were rude and uncaring after we stood in line for 8 hours... 8 F****** hours...

Anyhow, I'm kinda taking a break from MH, or at least limiting my usage... you guys have fun...

CB, glad you are back in one piece! That is a bummer though, free trip and you didn't really get to enjoy it...well, I suppose there are a couple of bright sides to the fiasco though...you probably got some much needed rest in your cabin and surely it beats the mess out of being at work! :)
